WANT TO WRITE FOR CA GIRL TRAVELS? HERE’S HOW!

Updated: 4/2/2023
If you’d like to write for this site, here are our guidelines for submissions:
What Content Do We Want?
What kind of submissions are we looking for? We’re interested in the following (and only the following) areas:
- Africa-related content
- Japan-related content
- Central Asia-related content
- Island content
- Southeast Asia-related content (especially Thailand)
- Luxury related content
- Female solo travel-related content
- Australia-related content
- Europe-related content (especially from Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy)
- How to use credit cards to travel
Your pitches should primarily focus on activities, quality/interesting accommodations, recommended companies or apps, travel hacks, and money-saving tips. The goal is to provide readers with practical advice that will help them travel safer, better, and longer. We want our readers to excel and feel confident when traveling.
While travel stories are also welcome, they should include a lesson or advice that can benefit readers’ future travels. Your articles should be highly informative and detailed, including useful links and unique insider tips that are not easily found elsewhere.
How to Submit a Post
Send an email to jessica@cagirltravels.com with the subject line “NEW: Guest Writer Submission”
Include the following:
- A link to your blog (if you don’t have one, no worries)
- A link or two to other guest posts or other writing you’ve written
- Topic idea (s), suggested title (s), and description (s) of the articles (s)
- SEO knowledge is helpful but not necessary
Keep your email simple and to the point.
Please do not follow up; you will hear from us if we like your pitch. If you follow up, it means you didn’t read this post. If you don’t hear back within three weeks, your pitch was not accepted.
Please note that if you send me a draft and I find that it will be too much work to edit, I reserve the right to reject it. I’m very detailed oriented; I may ask you to make changes once the first draft is submitted.
We pay $200 USD per post.
Email us if you’re interested.
Thanks,
Jessica
